The families of young people lost after a devastating fire at a venue in a Swiss alpine town are enduring an painful wait for confirmed information and pleading for any details about their children online.

The fire ripped through the Le Constellation bar in Cans-Montana, located in the Alps of the Valais region, in the small hours of January 1st. Verified video reveal the ceiling catching alight as beverages with sparklers are raised in celebration.

Officials have stated that it could take days if not weeks to formally name the those who perished of the tragedy, which resulted in the death of numerous partygoers and injured another 119. Authorities stated on Friday that 113 of the injured have been accounted for, with the process continuing to locate the final individuals.

In the interim, loved ones have been using online platforms to appeal for any news about their loved ones who were at the bar that evening.

Heartbreaking Pleas for the Missing

The fate of teenager from Switzerland Arthur Brodard, a teenager, are not yet determined, according to an heartfelt request from his mother.

Additional Missing Individuals

Giovanni Tamburi, sixteen, is also unaccounted for. His mother told reporters that he had been on vacation but had gone out with friends and ended up at the bar.

"A close friend said they escaped after the fire broke out and that he had his phone with him, but then at a specific moment he couldn't see him anymore," she said, adding he had been wearing a distinctive piece of jewelry.

One of his teachers commented, "He was known for his kindness and smile, combined with great maturity. Often offer to help out."

Alice Kallergis, who holds both Swiss and Greek nationality but lives full-time in the country, was also present on that night, according to media.

Her sibling has shared an urgent request on social media, saying the family has had "no news" regarding the teenager or the group she was with, who are also reported missing.

Officials from her country of origin say they are actively engaged with the developments.
